This book was the result of the pandemic. Experiencing the phase of withdrawal and social distancing, I tried to create new classes, as I could. I did some online writing workshops and the one for this book in particular took shape with the decision to publish. We delved into many stories and produced several others, under the sensitive and professional eye of the dear Flavio Cafiero. Contaria was born as a refuge for an eclectic group of authors who found creative writing a means to alleviate the impact caused by social isolation due to the pandemic.
